A few things worth knowing.
Talk to usDoes Platovo charge a commission?
No. Platovo's plan has no per-order platform commission and adds no fee to your customers' bill. The monthly subscription and applicable taxes apply, and your payment provider charges separately for card processing.
Do my customers need an app?
No. They order on your page in any browser. To collect Rewards points or see past orders they sign in with an email code or their Google account.
How will my kitchen receive orders?
On the free Platovo Android app as your kitchen screen. New orders take over the screen with a sound that repeats until accepted, and the order board also runs in a browser as backup. With the Square pickup integration, orders go to your Square order manager instead.
How do Rewards work?
You choose the points per $1 and the reward, starting from 10 points per $1 and $5 off at 1,000 points, and you see what a reward costs before you publish. Customers earn on card orders once an order is complete and apply a reward at checkout. Refunded food takes its points back. Cash, catering and Square orders don't earn points.
Does Platovo work with Square?
Yes. If your restaurant already uses Square, connect your Square account: your menu, prices, options and taxes come across, with your address, logo, description and opening hours for you to review. Customers pay by card through your own Square account, and pickup orders go to your Square order manager. Platovo still takes no commission per order; Square charges its usual card processing fees. Connect Square during setup, review the imported menu, and verify a paid pickup order before enabling public ordering.
Can I use my existing menu and branding?
Yes. Import a menu from a photo, PDF, your website or Square, then review the dishes, prices and options before you publish. Your page uses your logo, colours and photos.
What can I make with the marketing tools?
Choose a dish, an offer or an occasion to create branded social posts, emails and printable flyers. Review the designs, download your posts and schedule your email. Platovo doesn't publish to your social accounts for you.
Can AI Manager change my menu on its own?
No. Every change arrives as a card showing exactly what will happen, and nothing changes until you press Confirm. Most changes can be undone the same way. Orders, refunds, payouts, billing and staff PINs are off-limits to it entirely.
Does Platovo provide delivery drivers?
No. You run your own delivery: choose your areas, fees and minimum order for each, alongside pickup.
What happens after the free trial?
The plan is $79.99 per month plus applicable taxes after the 14-day trial. You can cancel anytime. No credit card is required to start the trial.
